As a mother of four in the middle of nowhere Oklahoma, most Blog Conferences mean time away from my family and/or tons of travel. It’s two hours to the nearest airport. If I speed. So a blog conference isn’t just right in my neck-of-the-woods.
So when I found out about Blog Success Summit I knew this was for me. An amazing line-up of speakers that I can listen to without having to pack the kids a suitcase. I’m especially excited to hear Darren Rowse, author of Build a Better Blog in 30 days (the blog series I did last year on this site), Brian Clark and Mari Smith.
The really cool thing is that I’m going to not only attend myself, I’m going to sponsor the Community Manager of Untrained Housewife to attend because since she’s overseas, she never gets to attend any of the other conferences I’m going to this year.
I’m going to BlissDom in three more weeks and am so excited to see everyone in person. I’m also going to Type-A-Conference and SOBCon as well. I do think it’s vital to keep in touch in person as much as possible. Those face-to-face connections are vital.
But the ability to get this quality information FROM HOME is really cool. I hope some of you can join me at Blog Success Summit this year! And it’s so important, I think, to improve your blogging and writing and ability to make money online by LEARNING. Taking every opportunity to improve and learn from some amazing professionals it vital for improving my blogging.
